You are concerned by Extended Producer Responsibility
You're obliged to apply an eco-tax to certain products, because you're a retailer. And you are also obliged to set up a take-back system for your customers.
What does the law say?
Anyone who places products on the market is required to contribute to the prevention and management of the waste they generate, by setting up an extended producer responsibility scheme.
Article L.541-10 of the French Environment Code.
