Why are mattresses treated differently?

Mattresses are bulky and contain several materials that are difficult to separate (foam, metal, textile), requiring special treatment for recycling. They must also be handled according to strict sanitary rules.

Why is wood treated differently?

Wood requires special treatment, as it may contain paints, varnishes, glues or chemical treatments that prevent it from being recycled directly. It must therefore be sorted and recovered separately to avoid pollution and enable recycling or energy recovery.

Conditions for the provision of a skip:

Private site: the dumpster must be installed on land or space belonging to you.
Accessibility : the site must be accessible to collection vehicles (trucks, cranes if necessary).
Safety: the installation must not impede pedestrian or neighbor traffic, and must comply with safety standards.

Please note: if the installation overhangs the public highway, you may need to obtain authorization from the town hall.
