Eco-mobilier becomes Ecomaison
Eco-mobilier approved by the French government for the recycling of construction products and materials. On this occasion, Eco-mobilier becomes Ecomaison.
On September 30, 2022, Eco-mobilier received approval from the public authorities to organize the collection and recycling of non-hazardous non-inert materials (category 2), as part of the implementation of new regulatory obligations relating to the extended producer responsibility (EPR) provisions for building products and construction materials (PMCB). Manufacturers, distributors and other marketers will be able to join the eco-organization in the coming days.

Eco-mobilier becomes Ecomaison
A long-standing player in the sorting, collection, reuse and recycling of furnishings and bedding, Eco-mobilier has extended its activities to include DIY and garden items and toys in 2022. With construction products and materials, and soon decorative textiles, Eco-mobilier becomes the first multi-sector, multi-material eco-organization for the home.
As the benchmark eco-organization for the entire world of the home Eco-mobilier becomes Ecomaison.

The membership campaign for PMCB manufacturers and distributors will be signed Ecomaison. For several months, the two names will coexist to ensure a smooth transition for members and partners, and optimum continuity of service for all.
Agreement with Ecominéro for a global solution
A cross-cooperation agreement between Ecomaison and Ecominéro - approved for category 1 inert materials - has been signed to cover all building materials. Ecomaison and Ecominéro will offer manufacturers and distributors the possibility of joining both categories on their respective platforms.
Providing a regulatory and operational response for both categories, inert and non-inert, is in line with our commitment to offer our members and their distributor customers, both craftsmen and private individuals, comprehensive and straightforward solutions.

Eco-mobilier is the government-approved eco-organization responsible for sorting, collecting, reusing and recycling household materials and objects.
Created in December 2011 by 12 French furniture distributors and 12 manufacturers, Eco-mobilier is the eco-organization approved by the public authorities to manage the collection, sorting, reuse, recycling and recovery of all furniture and bedding items.
In 2021, Eco-mobilier means: 6,542 members, 310 million in eco-taxes, 1.2 million tonnes of furniture collected and 94% recycled. In 2022, Eco-mobilier will be accredited to take in toys, DIY and garden products and building materials.
