The AGEC law prohibits manufacturers and distributors from destroying their unsold goods. They are obliged to donate them to encourage re-use. But how can you access these new pieces of furniture, curtains, games, toys, bedding and other DIY and garden equipment? How does the Ecomaison donation platform work?
Ecomaison has created its donation platform to facilitate the matching of supply and demand for unsold products.
With one goal in mind: forge links between players with different profiles. On the one hand, retailers who need to get rid of their unsold goods, and on the other, associations looking for quality items to offer their customers.
In concrete terms, while the former post ads detailing the condition of the products they donate, the latter consult them and contact donors if they are interested.

How can I take advantage of the donation platform?
As an Ecomaison account holder, log on to the donation platform via your Reemployment Extranet and make your choice: unsold items, display models, spare parts, after-sales returns or mismatched parcels. Please note that if products are presented in batches, they are not divisible; but nothing prevents you from approaching another association to share the offer.
As with the consumer classifieds sites, you can apply filters to your search, limiting it to offers located near your facility. You can also set up alerts to keep you informed of new products offered in your area. By selecting an ad, you'll obtain the donor's contact details and trade-in information. We recommend that you draw up a donation agreement to formalize the terms and conditions (deadline, logistics, payment, etc.).
Ecomaison has set up its donation platform so that donor companies and players in the Social and Solidarity Economy in the same region can build lasting relationships. Building lasting partnerships should ensure that the unsold goods of some companies systematically find their way into the stores and/or reuse workshops of others.
