From July 6 to August 30, 2026, your old toys can bring joy to others. This summer, Ecomaison invites you to combine vacation with a spirit of solidarity. Thanks to a large-scale collection drive organized at 20 beach clubs in partnership with the Journal de Mickey, everyone can give used toys a second life and take concrete action to support the circular economy.

On France’s beaches, summer is taking on a spirit of solidarity thanks to Ecomaison. In partnership with *Le Journal de Mickey*, 20 beach clubs are setting up collection stations this summer to give your used or unused toys a second life. It’s a simple, fun, and useful initiative to raise awareness about reuse among young and old alike.

A return campaign for the third consecutive year

Following two successful editions, Ecomaison is repeating the initiative to reach even more families. This year, 20 clubs have agreed to take on the challenge, with a clear goal: to make sorting waste for donation and reuse a regular part of vacationers’ daily lives.

Why take part?

Because 3 out of 10 French people still throw away their toys*. And yet, a cuddly toy, a doll, a board game or a small car can be refurbished and given a new lease of life. With this gesture of solidarity, everyone can contribute to reducing waste and making people happy.

How does it work?

All you have to do is find one of the partner beach clubs between the Opal Coast and the Mediterranean, drop off your unused toys (excluding electric and electronic toys) at the Ecomaison drop-off point, and you’re all set! Local social and solidarity economy organizations will then take care of giving them a second life or sending them for recycling through Ecomaison.

A meaningful collection

This year, eight partner organizations will refurbish the toys to donate them or resell them at a discounted price: La Chiffo Aciades, Ecorecyclerie Recyc’La Vie, Emmaüs Bayonne, Jeux Rejoue, Joue-Eco, La Malle à Rejouer, Recup’Tri Saint Léonard, and La Ressourcerie Il Était Deux Fois.

A beautiful chain of solidarity and circular economy that you can join in a simple gesture this summer.

On vacation too, think re-use

Between two sand castles, let's give children a taste for good habits. This collection is also an opportunity to start a conversation about sorting, reusing and donating. Reflexes that, with Ecomaison, become natural.
