Sort through your old toys and give them a second life

Do you have worn-out, incomplete, or damaged toys gathering dust in your closets? Don’t throw them away! Ecomaison offers solutions to extend their lifespan and save them from the trash. Two habits to adopt: repair them yourself using spare parts, or drop them off at Ecomaison collection points located in toy stores. They will be reused by a nonprofit organization or recycled if they are too damaged.

Ways to extend the life of my toys

What can I donate?

Donate any type of toy, whether it’s in good condition, used, damaged, or incomplete.
If they’re in good condition, they’ll be collected by a nonprofit organization for donation or resale to support charitable causes.
If they’re damaged or incomplete, they’ll be repaired or recycled.

I drop off my toy in good, damaged, broken or incomplete condition

The association sorts, cleans and refurbishes toys and games whenever possible.

Once refurbished, it can be donated or resold at a fair price.

If it can't be repaired, it goes to recycling centers.

Toy rescue mission

Free activities to save toys from the trash!

To help parents and children adopt the right habits, Ecomaison is launching the second edition of the “Toy Rescue Mission” campaign: free, fun, traveling activities designed to teach children about sorting, reusing, and repairing

Getting to know Ecomaison better

Ecomaison is an eco-organization, i.e. a not-for-profit public-interest company, approved by the French government to take charge of the end-of-life management of household objects and materials: furniture, bedding, building materials, DIY and garden items, games and toys.

Our role? Reduce the environmental impact of these objects and materials by organizing their collection, sorting, repair, reuse and recycling.

Our goal? To achieve zero waste.
