Time for summer sorting

Before you leave and at your vacation destination, good sorting habits also work. Here are a few sorting tips for this vacation season.

Leave with a free mind

Preparing to go on vacation is also an opportunity to sort out your home. Not only does this allow you to leave with a lighter mind, but it also helps to ensure that your home is in order when you return - a considerable asset.

For example, you could go round each room and look for items you haven't used for a long time.

Another possible method: ask each family member to take over a room and find 3 objects that no longer have any use.

Once you've taken this first step, ask yourself if they really belong in your home, or if they could find a new life in a recycling center or charity.

And if they're too damaged, simply drop them off at an Ecomaison collection point so they can be recycled!

On site, make your life easier

Once you've arrived at your vacation destination, look out for Ecomaison collection points nearby, where you can drop off items you won't be needing next year, or those that will reach the end of their useful life during your stay.

Camping equipment, comforters, deckchairs, barbecues, garden furniture... if they're no longer of use to you, they can be reused or recycled!

And if you have any unused beach toys or games, you can entrust them to Ecomaison at one of the 16 beach clubs across the Atlantic coast, in partnership with Le Journal de Mickey, participating in the "Toy Savers" operation.
