Faded stuffed animals, incomplete puzzles, scratched toy cars… What if your old toys became a Christmas gift for another child? From November 1 to 30, 2026, Ecomaison is organizing the second edition of the Great Charity Toy Drive to turn these forgotten childhood companions into new stories.

Sort and donate your toys in November
They’ve been there for your children, sharing laughter—and sometimes a few tears. Now they’re ready for a new adventure. The Great Charity Toy Drive is a major event organized by Ecomaison to instill a habit among the French: sorting and donating their unused toys.
This national campaign brings together all existing initiatives, such as “Laisse parler ton Cœur” (Let Your Heart Speak), launched 15 years ago by Ecosystem, which joined this major national drive last year. The goal: to ensure that no toy ends up in the trash when it can have a second life.
Join in and help raise the total for this fundraiser
In 2025, Ecomaison and its partners collected 500,000 toys during the first edition of this campaign. This year, the challenge for every French person is to beat that record! Once you’ve dropped off your toys at a collection point near you, you can share your contribution on the website for the Great Toy Drive: jedonnemesjouets.fr, where a counter will display the number of toys donated each day.
A Second Life for All Toys
The following items may be placed in the collection bins: all indoor toys (dolls, action figures, stuffed animals, building sets), board games, puzzles, outdoor toys (balance bikes, beach toys), electric or electronic toys (battery-operated or plug-in), as well as toys received as gifts with children’s meals or magazines.
In good condition, incomplete, damaged, or even broken? Every toy that’s donated finds a home:
- In good condition: They will be cleaned and then donated or resold at a charitable price by a local nonprofit organization.
- Damaged or incomplete: They will be repaired, restored, and then donated or resold at a charitable price by nonprofit organizations.
- If they're too damaged or broken, they'll be recycled.
This approach is a game-changer. You no longer need to wonder if something is “good enough” to give away. Just drop it off—the rest will take care of itself.

Behind each collection point are social economy structures that support people who are far from employment in their professional integration process. How does it work? Your toys are sorted, cleaned and reconditioned by these employees. A simple gesture for you becomes an opportunity for them. More than 5,000 collection points are available throughout the month of November thanks to our partners: retailers (specialty toy stores, supermarkets, garden centers, furniture stores), post offices, municipal locations (city halls, libraries, schools), and nonprofit organizations… There’s bound to be one near you.
You drop them off, and our partner organizations take it from there! They collect the toys and give them a second life by directing them to the most appropriate destination.
