BATIMAT: Ecomaison helps professionals reuse and recycle their products and waste

From September 30 to October 3, 2024, Ecomaison teams will be at the Batimat trade show to present their services and support offerings for the management of waste from Building Construction Products and Materials (BCPM).

Meet us at Porte de Versailles, Paris, Hall 1 Stand J032.

Ecomaison, the government-approved eco-organization for the Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) scheme for the re-use and recycling of building products and building materials, is delighted to welcome all industry professionals to its stand in Hall 1 J032.

Manufacturers, retailers, holders of construction waste: all players in the chain are concerned by regulations on the reuse and recycling of materials.

The objectives set for the recent industry require an unprecedented mobilization of all professionals and approved eco-organizations. Ecomaison wants to strengthen its presence among professionals and help them discover the full range of available solutions:

  • The Warehouse offer: consisting of two components with financial and operational support (available at the end of 2024), to encourage the sorting and treatment of inert and non-inert waste. It involves covering part of the cost of waste treatment (financial support) and/or collecting wood and inert waste directly from warehouses (operational support subject to volume conditions).
  • Worksite offer: for waste already sorted on worksites, Ecomaison can handle the treatment of wood, inert materials, professional furniture and, in the near future, glass frames (available by the end of 2024). In addition, Ecomaison supports professionals in their deconstruction initiatives, offering solutions for the reuse and recycling of products directly on the worksite.
  • The take-back solution: Ecomaison provides a free web application, "ourecycler.ecomaison.com", which enables craftsmen and building professionals to identify materials to be recycled, sorting instructions and collection points accessible free of charge (on condition that the waste is sorted) near their worksites.
  • One-stop shopping thanks to partnership with Ecominéro - approved for category 1 (inert materials). Ecomaison and Ecominéro offer companies the possibility of joining both categories via their respective platforms, for the handling of all building materials (inert and non-inert).
