EspritMeuble: from eco-design to repair, Ecomaison deploys its range of circular economy solutions

From November 16 to 19, 2024, Ecomaison will be taking part in the EspritMeuble trade show to present its solutions and services to distributors and players in the furniture industry, in favor of reuse, furniture repair and the reutilization of recycled materials.

Meet us at Paris Porte de Versailles - Pavillon 1, stands E40D and E40E and at a conference dedicated to circularity on Monday November 18.

Ecomaison, the eco-organization in charge of the second life of household objects and materials (furniture, seating, bedding, kitchens, fixtures and fittings, etc.), meets with industry professionals at EspritMeuble 2024. Having built up and deployed the furniture sector for over 10 years, Ecomaison is continuing its actions to extend the life of products and encourage manufacturers and distributors to enter the circularity loop.

At the EspritMeuble trade show, Ecomaison teams will be meeting professionals with two objectives in mind: to expand its network of approved repairers, and to promote its solutions and services for reducing the environmental impact of the industry.

At 2 stands, including one dedicated to repairs on the village square, visitors will be able to discover :

  • The Repair Bonus, which offers consumers a new repair service with a financial boost. This is already possible for certain household items (seats and sofas, chairs and benches, bed bases and headboards, DIY and garden tools) since spring 2024. The repair bonus will soon be extended to all categories of furnishings. This win-win scheme is aimed not only at consumers seeking eco-responsible solutions, but also at professionals who can become "certified repairers", developing their business while building customer loyalty.
  • In-store Reuse Containers: this new offer enables distributors and delivery companies to become fully involved in reuse, thanks to a preserving collection process as part of in-store take-back or delivery, to which local players from the Social & Solidarity Economy (SSE) have direct access;
  • The incorporation bonus rewards the integration of recycled materials into the manufacture of new goods. Ecomaison works closely with all players in the materials processing and transformation chain, and encourages the movement with the payment of a bonus at the end of the year;
  • Eco-modulation of eco-participation tariffs, an essential lever to encourage eco-design of products by extending their useful life, sustainable management of resources and integration of recycled materials. With support in understanding and implementing this incentive mechanism, professionals can optimize their production processes and become part of a genuine circular economy approach.

Conference "How can the circular economy drive growth and loyalty?" - Monday, November 18, 2024, 4pm, Village Square
