To mark European Sustainable Development Week, which takes place this year from May 30 to June 5, 2019, Eco-mobilier is offering virtual reality animations across France at several furniture retailers.
This immersive experience allows visitors to discover all the stages from collection to recycling and recovery of used furniture and mattresses. It's an innovative way of understanding the second life of these objects and raising consumer awareness of the importance of recycling!
May 29, 2019 - Eco-mobilier is the eco-organization in charge of the collection, sorting and recycling of all furniture and furnishing elements. During this European awareness week, Eco-mobilier is keen to reinforce its messages through an innovative and fun animation on the theme "Experience
recycling in virtual reality". The aim is to raise awareness of the recycling and recovery of used furniture, through a 360° film.
With the help of a virtual reality headset, visitors can immerse themselves in a 360° film on the fate of used furniture and mattresses. Dedicated, trained Eco-mobilier animators will be on hand in stores to equip them with virtual reality headsets, guide them through the experience and answer any questions they may have.
"It's a realistic, immersive film that explains every stage of furniture recycling. Virtual reality makes it all very entertaining," explains Eric Weisman Morel, Eco-mobilier's Development Director.
Eco-mobilier will be offering this event on Saturday June 1 in almost 200 stores. The partner chains are Leroy Merlin, Conforama, Mr Bricolage, Bricorama and Maisons du Monde.
