Ecomaison and the Brittany Region are extending their partnership initiated in 2023, renewing the "Nos objets ont de la ressource - Donnons-leur une nouvelle vie" campaign.
The 2024 edition, which runs from September 30 to October 20, features a strengthened program designed to reach a wider audience and consolidate the circular economy in Brittany.
Consolidating and developing the recycling dynamic in Brittany
In 2023, the campaign was very well received throughout the region. The partners working with the Brittany region, including ADEME Bretagne, the CRESS (Chambre régionale de l'économie sociale et solidaire) Bretagne, the RAB (Réseau des ressourceries et recycleries bretonnes) and the Ecosystem and Citéo eco-organizations, have decided to repeat the campaign in order to amplify initiatives in the field and support them further.
This new edition includes the textile sector (clothing and household linen), with the participation of the Refashion eco-organization. Thanks to a major urban poster campaign and various digital actions, the aim is to raise awareness among individuals and professionals of the importance of reducing waste and wastage through reuse.
Strengthening synergies with SSE players
Reuse is at the heart of Ecomaison's mission, and this partnership is an opportunity to strengthen its support for Social and Solidarity Economy (SSE) structures, by developing an increasingly high-quality "reuse" resource.
In Brittany, Ecomaison has forged links with 32 local reuse structures, including 30 for furniture, 25 for toys and 19 for DIY and gardening.

Promoting more responsible consumption
Reuse is essential for reducing waste by extending the life of products and limiting the use of new resources. It encourages responsible consumption, reduces waste, and supports the circular economy while stimulating the local economy and protecting the environment.
At the same time, Ecomaison is pursuing its efforts with the "Reemploi et Territoires" call for expressions of interest, launched in 2024. Endowed with 3.6 million euros, this scheme supports local projects aimed at developing reuse in France. A new session will open shortly, enabling new SSE players to propose their initiatives, reinforcing Ecomaison's commitment to waste reduction.
