By 2024, Ecomaison has dedicated €400 million to the circular economy of its products and materials.

Concrete results in the field

With over 1.7 million tonnes of products collected - or around 25 kg per inhabitant - Ecomaison is continuing to develop its local network, which by the end of 2024 will comprise almost 12,000
collection points
, a doubling in two years.

This nationwide coverage is based on the diversity of our partners: public and professional drop-off centers, retailers and social economy organizations. In 2024 alone, 1,292 additional stores were equipped with take-back points, testifying to their concrete mobilization alongside Ecomaison to offer practical solutions accessible to all.

A collective commitment to zero waste

With 97% of collected products recovered (reuse, recycling, energy recovery), Ecomaison confirms the soundness of its operating model, based on Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) and
active cooperation with local authorities and manufacturers.

Reuse and solidarity: giving objects a second life

Reuse remains at the heart of Ecomaison's action. In 2024, over 65,000 tonnes of products were given a second life. Ecomaison has installed around a hundred secure containers dedicated to reuse in Ikea, But and Conforama stores. The aim is to reach 200 containers by the end of 2025.

With more than 630 partner organizations in the social economy, Ecomaison is the only eco-organization in the habitat sector to mobilize such a network of socially responsible players, covering all product families: furniture, DIY, toys and building materials.

To amplify this dynamic, financial support scales have been significantly increased to support restoration activities and enable associations to improve their supply capacity (particularly in terms of land). At the same time, to help accelerate their growth, 65 innovative projects have been selected via Calls for Expressions of Interest (AMI). A total of €1.8 million has been allocated to some forty project leaders, to support investment and provide a long-term structure for solidarity-based reuse.

Innovation and local industries: building tomorrow's circularity

In 2024, Ecomaison continued to roll out its Innovation for Eco-design program, designed as a lever for cooperation between industrialists, innovators, manufacturers and distributors. Nearly 2 million euros were mobilized to support research projects, strengthen eco-design approaches, and test the integration of recycled materials into members' products on an industrial scale.

A highlight of this dynamic was Innovation Days, which brought together nearly 200 participants to discuss initiatives put forward by members, partners and start-ups. This event embodies Ecomaison's determination to support the emergence of concrete, industrializable solutions, with a view to the strategic development of recycled resources in the region.

Some forty manufacturers have benefited from financial support to accelerate the incorporation of recycled materials into their production processes, thereby structuring sustainable, local and circular supply chains.
