Developing re-use through projects
Ecomaison devotes part of its support to projects via Calls for Expressions of Interest (AMI) aimed at players in the Social and Solidarity Economy (SSE).These initiatives aim to increase the volume of reused furnishings, and now extend to all the sectors covered by Ecomaison.

Reuse and territories

Called "Réemploi et territoires" (Reuse and Territories), this Call for Expressions of Interest (AMI) aims to develop volumes reused through new local and innovative solutions.
In the first session, dedicated to furniture, 30 projects were selected for a total budget of 1.5 million euros. The projects cover a wide range of areas, including the purchase of vehicles, the development of collections, the extension of sales outlets, and the equipping of workshops (air-gumming, carpentry, etc.).
The winners, from 22 départements including DROM-COM, represent the whole of France.
Supported over a period of 1 to 6 years, these projects will strengthen the capacity of associations to collect, refurbish and resell objects donated by individuals or distributors, in order to promote their reuse or resale at fair prices.

Second session extended to all sectors
Launched at the beginning of December 2024, the second session of the AMI has been extended to all the sectors covered by Écomaison. The rules and detailed information remain available on the Ecomaison innovation platform, where all applications can be submitted.
This session attracted 135 applications, which are currently being analyzed. Closed at the end of January 2025, the final results will be announced in July 2025.
Financial support is granted on a flat-rate basis to support projects or business expansion, in addition to per-tonne support, which supports the day-to-day activities of structures based on volumes reused.

Encouraging the re-use of buildings
In the building sector, Ecomaison and Écominéro launched a joint call for projects in 2024, as part of their strategic partnership.
The aim is to showcase the most innovative and committed initiatives in the field of reusing building materials and products, particularly those carried out in collaboration with SSE players.
Construction sites play a key role: they are at once holders of deposits, players in reuse on their sites, and principals integrating reused materials into new constructions or renovations.
In all, over a hundred projects were submitted, 36 of which were selected in the two categories of the call for projects.
