Support for re-use
Ecomaison supports social economy structures in developing re-use through financial support, services and tools adapted to each sector.

Financial support for each sector

As an Ecomaison partner, you can benefit from financial support for your reuse activities. Calculated on a per-ton basis or in the form of lump sums, they are granted on the basis of traceability and your quarterly declarations.
As the objectives and regulatory procedures are specific to each sector, Ecomaison designs its action plans around common principles, while offering support and tools specific to each one:

Access to deposits
One of the main challenges of reuse is access to the deposits of objects and products brought back by consumers or professionals at various collection points.
Ecomaison facilitates this access by proposing to its distributors to twin their points of sale with social economy structures.
Suitable containers are made available: cardboard bins for toys, maritime containers for furniture or large objects, to protect products from rain or theft. In this way, they become genuine collection points for partner structures.
For products that cannot be reconditioned or resold, Ecomaison also provides suitable skips or crates, and organizes their removal as soon as they are full.

Support and tools
Sectors with a re-use fund offer specific subsidies depending on the issues at stake. All pay support per tonne reused and, in some cases, per tonne collected. Lump-sum payments can also be made for one-off actions or awareness-raising campaigns run by social economy players.
For the building sector, which is still in the deployment phase, support takes the form of pilot projects and experiments.
Payment of subsidies is conditional on quarterly declarations of incoming and outgoing reuse volumes (sales or donations).
Furnishings

This historic sector benefits from Ecomaison support, which has been significantly increased since January 2024, under the new agreement.

DIY and gardening

Products in this sector are difficult to collect, but have a very good reuse rate (around 75%). Increased support has been applied per tonne reused since the beginning of 2025.
Get financial support:
- Fixed rates for collection, equipment and awareness campaigns
- Support linked to your re-use activity, subject to quarterly traceability of incoming and outgoing re-use tons (sales, donations, bricothèque).

Games and toys

Donating and reusing toys is very popular with the French. This sector benefits from significant support and operations carried out with the French Ministry of Education.
In 2025, Ecomaison is launching the "Grande Collecte Solidaire de Jouets", and you can become a partner collection point.

Focus on traceability
Being an Ecomaison partner means ensuring traceability of incoming and outgoing items collected and reused:
- For each item, we need to know: its origin, its type, whether it was brought in voluntarily (donation), whether it was collected via a chain store, on another professional site or during a seasonal collection.
- reused items - whether sold or donated - must be accounted for by category.
