PMCB EPR compliance: 5 things to do

The new regulations on the recycling of building products and materials (PMCB) will come into force in the next few days. Not ready yet? The EPR for building products will kick off on January 1, 2023. Ecomaison can help manufacturers and distributors in the sector to keep up to date with their new recycling obligations. Here are the 5 things you need to do now.

EPR compliance PMCB

As of January 1, 2023, manufacturers of building products and materials must comply with the PMCB EPR. Ecomaison has thought of everything and provides guidance to its members. Our services facilitate compliance.

  • Get your unique identification number. This number is proof that you are fulfilling your recycling obligations. It proves that you're on the national register maintained by ADEME, the French agency for ecological transition. We take care of all the formalities. Ecomaison will send it to you within three working days of your registration.
  • Include your unique ID number in your General Terms and Conditions of Sale (GTCS). This will be mandatory from January1st, as well as in all contractual documents. You can find templates for inserting this number on ecomaison.com.
  • Communicate with your customers and suppliers. On ecomaison.com, you'll find templates for information letters.
  • Code your products by applying the eco-participation amount. The coding proposed by Ecomaison in connection with the scale is available on the ecomaison.com website.
  • Circulate your new 2023 price lists, which include eco-tax, as soon as possible. Eco-tax invoicing will be mandatory. Ecomaison's eco-tax scales are available on the ecomaison.com website.

For those who haven't yet signed up, you can do so quickly and easily. Ecomaison is doing everything in its power to make it as easy as possible for you to comply with the new EPR PMCB regulations.

All our teams are on deck, at your side, to help you get ready now for your new extended producer responsibility.
