Good news for construction professionals and private individuals: as of January 1, 2024, the take-back of waste construction products and materials has been strengthened and simplified.
From now on, retailers of building products and materials with a sales area of over 4,000m² are obliged to offer free take-back of these used products. This means that you can take all building materials and products that constitute construction site waste directly to them, provided they have been sorted. For the first year, up to 7 sorting streams per material are offered: wood, metal, glazed joinery, plastic (excluding plastic packaging film), plaster, mineral wool, inerts (mineral materials).
Professionals: a web application to simplify the return of construction waste.
As of January 1, 2024, Ecomaison already offers building professionals nearly 350 collection points set up at our partner stores, DIY superstores and professional waste collection centers. There, you can drop off a variety of construction products and materials: washbasins, shower trays, taps, pipes, tiles, parquet flooring, carpentry, plasterboard, partitions, joinery, doors, windows, etc. To make it even simpler to take back your waste, a web application has been designed for you to locate nearby collection points quickly and easily. By the end of 2024, you'll have access to over 800 addresses dedicated to the building sector, deployed by our partners.
In this application, you can :
- find collection points dedicated to construction waste;
- identify whether your suppliers of construction products and materials are listed as collection points;
- anticipate and prepare your waste disposal orders, simplifying administrative procedures.
