To support the increase in collection and recycling, and meet the targets set by the public authorities for collection, recycling and reuse in the DIY and Garden Products (DIYG) sector, Ecomaison is changing its eco-tax rates applicable from January 1, 2026.
This new scale was approved by the Sector Committee and the Stakeholder Committee in June 2025. It is based on the following principles:
- It finances, at a minimum, the fixed costs of collection, metal and inert materials in particular;
- It maintains the consistency of contributions by material/product: taking into account cost differences linked to the recyclability of materials and the size of objects;
- It rewards eco-design efforts with a bonus for the incorporation of recycled plastic.
What rates apply?
- For all your 2025 marketings, the scale in effect since January 1, 2025 applies;
- For all your marketing on or after January 1, 2026, the new January 1, 2026 price scale will apply.
To help you code your products for application of the tariffs on January 1, 2026, the product code and eco-participation tariff generator is available below.
