Rate Guide for the Construction Sector, Category 2, Effective July 1, 2026

Subject to approval by the sector committees and stakeholders in the construction industry in March 2026, Ecomaison is adjusting its eco-contribution rates effective July 1, 2026 in order to continue its collection services and in anticipation of the overhaul of the Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) scheme for the construction sector.

Our rates are based on the construction industry’s recycling scale for building products and materials.

The update dated July 1, 2026, covers:

  • The windows
  • Mineral wool
  • Bituminous membranes
  • Plaster
  • Plastic (with new codes available for polyurethane > 95%)
  • Bio-based products
  • Glass
  • The simplified system (annual filing; changes to the threshold and rates, excluding the woodworking and metalworking trades).

These rates are effective as of July 1, 2026. Find them in our 2026 rate guide for the construction industry.

Prices for wood and metals remain unchanged but may be subject to future changes depending on the publication of laws or regulations related to the reform.
