Ecomaison joins the board of directors of the leading think tank for the economy and resources, the Institut National de l'Economie Circulaire.
Dominique Mignon was elected to the board of directors of the Institut National de l'Economie Circulaire, at the general meeting held on September 27. "Thank you to the INEC team for welcoming the new directors, and see you soon to work on our reuse and circular economy strategies!" commented the President ofEcomaison.
The Institut National de l'Economie Circulaire, created in 2013, is the think tank of reference and influence around the resource economy. Its mission is to promote the circular economy and accelerate its development through a collaborative dynamic, in liaison with political decision-makers. INEC took part in the drafting of the AGEC law and is studying the progress of its effective implementation.
Reflection, promotion, training
The organization is made up of over 200 public and private members: companies, federations, local authorities, institutions, associations, NGOs and universities. This diversity contributes to a plural and global vision of the circular economy, taking into account all economic, social and environmental issues.
The institute's activities focus on 3 main areas:
- Reflection through the organization of working groups and the publication of forward-looking studies, reports, decrypts and notes. To date, some sixty such studies have been published, covering topics such as donations, the circular economy in the construction and public works sector, and the timber industry.
- Promotion of the circular economy through communication, advocacy and events.
- Implementation through the sharing of best practices, support for companies and regions, and training.
Dominique Mignon joins the 16-member Board of Directors, which includes Fannie Derenchy, Director of the Circular Economy at La Poste Group, and Maud Caruhel, Vice-President of the SSE and Circular Economy at the Nouvelle Aquitaine Regional Council. Its chairman is Jean-Marc Boursier, CFO of the Emeis group.
Thanks to the INEC team for welcoming our new directors, and we look forward to working on our reuse and circular economy strategies!
Dominique Mignon
