Ecomaison invites tenders for large-volume transport between sorting and preparation centers

To support its growth in the new recycling sectors for which it is approved, and to align capacity with needs, Ecomaison is seeking partners for the transport of large volumes between sorting centers and preparation centers.

This consultation is an opportunity for Ecomaison to give concrete form to its new strategic vision for transport in 2026, with the implementation of transport organizers at some of its preparation centers, a strategy called "Single Carrier". This strategy could enable the selected players to have exclusive access to 100% of the routes from various sorting centers to a preparation site.

Ecomaison is the state-approved eco-organization for the collection, reuse and recycling of household objects and materials: furniture, bedding, construction, DIY, garden, toys. Ecomaison is launching a call for tenders (AO B) for the transport of large volumes

The purpose of the call for tenders is to contract with bulk road haulage service providers using FMA (fond mouvant alternatif) vehicles. The goods to be transported are exclusively non-hazardous waste, handled by Ecomaison:

  • Wood,
  • Mattresses and upholstery,
  • Plastics,
  • Comforters & pillows,
  • Mixed waste,
  • Construction waste.

Consultation calendar

  • Territory concerned: metropolitan France
  • Contract duration: 2 years, renewable 1x1 year, excluding specific projects
  • Provisional start of services: April 2026
  • Allocation strategy: Depending on the projects received, route-by-route allocations or the possibility of allocating route packages to a single carrier per preparation center.
