Since 2022, Ecomaison has been supporting committed companies through more than twenty innovative projects in the fields of collection, logistics and reuse. Our mission: to accompany companies with targeted support programs. We explain.
Recycling: the cornerstone of the circular economy
Collection is not just a logistical step; it's the prerequisite for implementing the circular economy. Ecomaison therefore organizes efficient collection so that end-of-life materials can be recovered and recycled.
"Our objective is clear: to work upstream to ensure that every product at the end of its life becomes a resource, and to guarantee that it can enter a virtuous loop."
Laure Bisson, Innovation Manager at Ecomaison

Eco-design: for optimized recyclability
Since 2020, the recyclability of products has been precisely defined by the AGEC law. The aim is to support product designs that can generate a source of high-quality recycled raw materials. At Ecomaison, we go beyond raising awareness, offering tailor-made support to economic players.
To get companies on board, our Innovation for Ecodesign program offers to help professionals make better choices of materials, and identify and eliminate "recycling disruptors" - non-separable materials, complex assemblies or elements detrimental to sorting. In particular, we are leading a collaborative working group dedicated to theeco-design of upholstered furniture, which is known to be particularly complex to handle.
Once the material has been collected, sorted and processed, it must be reintegrated into production cycles. Our results are as follows:
- 70% of the wood collected is transformed into particleboard for furniture. -Recycled plastics are used to produce new furniture, DIY products and automotive components.
- Agglomerated foam panels made from recycled mattresses are used in sectors such as construction and sports.

Committed companies: sustainably integrating recycled materials
Our ambition is to significantly increase by 2029 the integration of recycled materials in all the sectors we cover: furniture, DIY, gardening and construction.
"Integrating recycled materials into product design means closing the loop of the circular economy while enhancing the value of quality materials from our supply chains."
Vincent du Granrut, Furniture Sector Manager at Ecomaison.
To achieve this goal :
- We've designed a searchable platform of available recycled materials - plastics, foams, wood, textiles - to simplify access for businesses.
- We offer financial support to companies by deploying a premium for the Incorporation of Recycled Materials), which now includes plastics and textiles, in addition to traditional materials such as wood and foam.
Thanks to these schemes, Ecomaison supports companies committed to responsible business practices, from design to recycling.
Towards a circular future
Eco-design and the integration of recycled materials offer producers and distributors in the home and construction sectors the power to " close the loop ", by transforming environmental constraints and challenges into concrete opportunities.
We firmly believe that the circular economy will become a concrete reality for businesses, thanks to tailored solutions and personalized support.
