What if this year, you made eco-innovation an engine of transformation for your company? It's the right time to make eco-innovation the driving force behind your priorities and give more meaning to your ambitions. Alternative materials, integration of recycled materials, innovative design, circularity, reuse... At ECOMAISON, we support you at every stage of your products' life cycle, transforming your ideas into concrete, sustainable solutions.

What exactly is eco-innovation?

Born in the 1990s under the impetus of Claude Fussler and Peter James, eco-innovation is based on a simple but powerful idea: environmental issues are drivers of innovation.

It refers to all innovative approaches that significantly reduce the environmental impact of a company's activities, while remaining economically viable.

Why is this approach essential?

As the two authors point out in Driving Eco-Innovation, this approach meets 3 objectives:

  • Improve efficiency (time, resources, costs),
  • Enhance competitiveness,
  • Responding actively to climate and social emergencies

At ECOMAISON, we use this as a central lever to help our members transform their products, materials and models.

You have projects, we have the tools.

As a multi-industry eco-organization, Ecomaison provides its members with a range of practical tools and support to help them take action.

Ecomaison's Innovation Space, the place to explore first:

More than 90 pilot projects: concrete lessons for your benefit

Since the launch of its innovation approach, Ecomaison has supported over 90 pilot projects alongside its members, from concept studies to industrial pilot tests.

Whether testing the incorporation of recycled materials, experimenting with new removable adhesives, or rethinking the design of a product with a view to its repair or recycling, each project was an opportunity to bring out solutions with great potential.

"We've been following the program since its inception and enjoy discovering the innovations on offer as well as taking part in the workshops."

COFEL Group - France's leading bedding manufacturer.

"We particularly appreciate the technical support, which offers us an outside, expert view to fuel our R&D ambitions."

CERLAND - French company specializing in exterior wood products.

These pilots enabled us to identify key lessons, both technical (material compatibility, process, performance, etc.) and organizational (team mobilization, stakeholder coordination, time-to-market, etc.).
