Ecomaison, innovation leader in wood recycling
Eco-participation finances services and solutions for sorting, reusing and recycling materials... but not only! It is also used to support innovation.
Today, most wood is recycled in the form of chipboard. To improve the recovery of wood waste, Ecomaison is working with the Ecole supérieure du bois (ESB) on an innovation: the BOIScheck.
Wood evolves over time, particularly in terms of color. Most wood takes on a grayish color. As a result, the distinction between treated and untreated wood is difficult to see with the naked eye. To improve reuse and recycling channels by speeding up the wood sorting phase, Ecomaison and ESB have joined forces to develop a solution that makes it easy to determine the treatment of used wood.
