Ecomaison will be present at the Lyon edition of Kidexpo, to be held on March 23 and 24 during the 1st weekend of the Foire de Lyon. See you at Eurexpo Lyon, Hall 2.1 B50 on the Ecomaison stand!

Ecomaison invites you to meet our collection experts and learn how to become a "toy savior" by giving your toys a second life. Visitors will also be able to drop off their used toys at the stand or in a Collection Area throughout the Lyon Fair.

Ecomaison meets families to encourage donation

Kidexpo has gradually established itself as THE French event for the children's and toy industries.

Ecomaison, as an approved eco-organization for the Toys sector, is on hand to raise awareness among families about sorting and reusing toys after they have been dropped off at a partner collection point.
With this in mind, Ecomaison and Lyon-based association Enjoué are offering visitors the chance to become "toy savers", with an animation on the sorting gesture to help them understand why, how and where to drop off their used toy, "La fresque du jouet" by Enjoué.
During Kidexpo, the Enjoué teams will be running a "La Fresque" workshop on the Ecomaison stand, to raise visitors' awareness of the environmental and social issues surrounding toys, and to reflect on actions and solutions to limit our impact on the planet.

A unique toy drive organized during the Lyon Fair

Because reuse begins with donation, families will be able to drop off their used non-electrical and non-electronic toys at a unique collection organized over the 11 days of the Foire de Lyon. This initiative is run in conjunction with Ecomaison, Enjoué and GL events.

Where can I drop off my toys at the Foire de Lyon 2024?

  • On the Ecomaison stand at Kidexpo: Eurexpo Lyon, Hall 2.1 stand B50
  • In Ecomaison kiosks located in the "Espace Collecte" at Eurexpo's Place des Lumières.

Enjoué: Our partner specializing in toy recycling

Created in 2020 as part of the Territoire Zéro Chômeur de Longue Durée experiment in Villeurbanne, Enjoué's ambition is to return its employees to sustainable employment by collecting and refurbishing toys. It is a member of the Rejouons Solidaire network.
Since its creation, Enjoué has created 16 permanent jobs and recovered 30 tonnes of toys, notably via solidarity collections organized with companies committed to CSR.
Once refurbished, the toys are offered at solidarity prices to individuals at sales outlets in Lyon and Villeurbanne. The toys are also on sale via their online boutique.

Enjoué also supplies reused toys to a large number of early childhood professionals, associations and shelters.

Toy recycling: it's in everyone's interest!

Faced with this observation, the Anti-Waste for a Circular Economy (AGEC) law, enacted on February 10, 2020, intends to put circularity back at the heart of our production and consumption patterns. Since April 2022, it has applied to the non-electrical and electronic toys, outdoor games and board games sector.
