In 2023, we worked to launch the new channels for which Ecomaison is accredited: building products and construction materials, DIY and garden items, toys and outdoor games. Not forgetting, of course, the furniture sector, for which we continued to roll out collection points and services to our members and partners.
1.6 million tonnes collected in 2023 at over 8,500 collection points
Together, we reached 1.6 million tonnes collected at over 8,500 collection points, recycled and recovered at over 97%. This has been made possible thanks to everyone's good sorting habits and our partners: businesses, local authorities, operators and associative and solidarity partners.

In 2024, the priority of reuse is reaffirmed
This year also marks the start ofa new accreditation period 2024 - 2029 for the furniture sector. With 141,000 tonnes of furniture reused per year, i.e. almost 10% of the quantities collected and sent to our partners in the Social and Solidarity Economy, the priority given to reuse and re-utilization has been reaffirmed. The sales outlets of Ecomaison member distributors will be at the heart of the development of a collection dedicated to solidarity-based reuse, in order to strengthen partnerships with associations and encourage the donation of products for solidarity.
By 2024, materials will be sorted at source
In 2024, we're going one step further by reinventing collection. From now on, materials will be sorted at source, right at the point of collection, with priority given to wood, upholstery and textiles, toys and DIY and garden items.
