A simplified scale for easier declaration
Who's concerned?
All craftsmen, local manufacturers or independent retailers who place less than 15 tonnes of furniture items on the market per year. Products must weigh less than 2 kg per unit. If the weight exceeds 2 kg, the marketer can still benefit from the simplified package, provided he does not exceed 1,000 units.
As of January1,2024, all those placing furniture on the market must code and declare their sales in detail.The exemption for craftsmen has been abolished, and the annual flat-rate tax (based on sales) has been replaced by an actual declaration.
What will change in 2025 :
The annual flat rate calculated on sales is replaced by a declaration based on actual tonnage. With this new system, the simplified scale is proposed by Ecomaison to calculate the eco-participation.

Reminder: How to make your annual eco-participation declaration?
Here are the steps for completing your annual eco-participation declaration from your personal space.
- Log in to Ecomaison : access theService Area with your e-mail address and password, then click on "Access" in "Declare eco-participation".
- Select your establishment: choose your establishment, fill in the payment and declaration details for your sales volume.
- Import or enter data: go to "Declarations to be processed", import your file or enter product information manually.
- Validate declaration: validate your declaration and enter an order number. The declaration will be available in the history or in validation.
