When you import certain swimming pool products for installation or sale under your own brand name, you are considered to be a manufacturer, and therefore subject to the regulatory obligations associated with the Extended Producer Responsibility for Building Products and Materials(EPR PMCB). Here are a few tips to help you comply, thanks to the expertise and support of the Ecomaison teams.
Which products are concerned?
As a pool builder, you use many of the materials covered by the EPR for Building Products and Materials (PMCB):
- Swimming pool,
- pool liner,
- non-removable pool ladder,
- tiles,
- cobblestones,
- deck boards...

How do you comply as a pool specialist?
Once you've joined, you'll receive a unique identification number (IDU), which identifies you to ADEME as a marketer. It proves your compliance with the management of the new products and materials you place on the market.
Ecomaison then guides you through product coding, which defines the amount of eco-tax for each product, and gives you all the keys you need to make your eco-tax declaration and payment a success.
Finally, you can take advantage of our experts' advice on eco-modulation, which rewards eco-design initiatives and reduces eco-taxes.
