Financial and operational support

Depending on the organization already in place, we can offer both financial and logistical support.

  • Financial responsibility : this is systematically assumed as soon as a contract is drawn up. Ecomaison pays the funds corresponding to the tonnages recovered from the local authority. To do this, the local authority must make two declarations per year.
  • Operational support: in addition to financial support, Ecomaison takes charge of collection, providing suitable skips and containers for distribution at waste collection centers. The installation of collection solutions is scalable according to the needs of the local authority. It chooses the deployment schedule and the containers it wishes to install.

Today, it's simple: everything is done to ensure that local authorities have a clear interest in entrusting us with the management of their waste! It's financially advantageous, it facilitates organization, and we provide personalized support.

Sorting by material to improve collection and recycling performance

The multiplicity of waste streams and the limited space available at public drop-off centers have led Ecomaison to rethink its collection strategy in order to optimize the space required for sorting products. Ecomaison encourages local authorities to install so-called "multi-channel" skips for sorting by materials common to the various Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) channels for which it is approved.

Sorting by material makes it possible to massify the volumes collected and optimize recycling performance. In fact, when a material - wood, for example - is sorted "at source" - i.e. when it is thrown away - and is therefore not mixed with other materials such as plastics or foams, it can be sent directly to the recycling channel dedicated to it. Better sorted, materials are better recycled.

For smaller items, Ecomaison offers an adapted, smaller container, the box pallet. If space does not permit the installation of two or more skips, a single skip can be installed.

A one-stop shop for your contracts

Several eco-organizations - including Ecomaison - have been approved for the Building, Furniture and DIY-Garden sectors. In this case, they join forces within a state-approved coordinating organization (OCA) to provide a single administrative interface for local authorities in charge of the public waste management service (SPGD), and to centralize requests for agreements from local authorities.

Waste collection site wardens at the heart of the system

To help you, Ecomaison trains your staff involved in the used-product collection chain. This support covers both logistics, directly at the drop-off centers, and administration, to ensure proper tracking of the resources collected.

A key role in ensuring quality sorting

In local authorities, waste collection site wardens are in direct contact with the public who come to drop off their waste. Their commitment and motivation guarantee high-quality collection. They are the ones who answer users' questions, ensure compliance with drop-off rules and organize regular collections. Ecomaison provides face-to-face or remote training for these key contacts. Custodians are also kept informed of any organizational or regulatory changes that affect the tasks they perform.

Where necessary, Ecomaison also provides dedicated training for technicians, e.g. for certain operations to be carried out on the extranet, or for updates. In addition to these training courses, Ecomaison provides its contacts with very precise documentation on how to sort objects and materials.

Ecomaison supports local initiatives to raise awareness among residents, to inform them of all the possible second lives available for objects and products that people want to get rid of, and to make sorting as easy as possible.
