Pollutec: spotlight on innovations in recycled materials!

Ecomaison will be present at Pollutec, from October 10 to 13, 2023 at the Parc des Expositions Eurexpo in Lyon. Pollutec is THE annual event dedicated to players in the environment-related economic sectors. As the leading eco-organization for the world of the home, Ecomaison will be presenting solutions and services dedicated to professionals for the recycling of home products and materials: wood, metal, foam, plastics, textiles, glass...

Ecomaison/Ecominéro together at Pollutec

At this year's Pollutec, Ecomaison and Ecominéro will be sharing a stand to promote the partnership between the two eco-organizations in the building recycling sector (building products and materials). The aim is to present the cross-cooperation agreement for the management of all building materials. Ecomaison and Ecominéro are offering manufacturers and distributors the opportunity to sign up for both categories (inert and non-inert products) on their respective platforms.

An eco-designed stand for "zero waste" results

With the transformation ofEco-mobilier into Ecomaison comes a new identity, a new image and a new stand. For this first stand in its new colors, Ecomaison aimed for zero waste! The design of the stand was based on 5 key principles:

  • Responsible investment: to reduce its environmental impact, Ecomaison invests in reusable stand components. In fact, 100% of stand components are reusable!
  • Reuse: despite having been in use for 10 years, the frames still in good condition on the Eco-mobilier stand have been reused. Nothing gets thrown away!
  • Storage and transport: the stand has been designed to be stored in uniformly sized crates, making it easy to store and transport, and protecting the modules to keep them in good condition for as long as possible.
  • Modularity: from 9m² to 70 m², the Ecomaison stand adapts to any space! It's designed on the principle of add-on modules to meet all technical location constraints.
  • The choice of eco-responsible materials: the furniture is made of wood with a solvent-free paint finish. This means it can be easily recycled when it reaches the end of its (first) life. This brand-new recycled fabric is exclusive to our supplier. Produced from recycled plastic bottles, the polyester yarn is then used to weave the backing. For signage, the fabrics used are derived from recycled plastic bottles. Recycled and 100% recyclable, the tarpaulins used on the ecomaison stand reduce CO2 emissions and consume little energy in production. What's more, the inks used are water-based.
