Ecomaison opens its network to promote re-use

Ecomaison develops collection circuits to promote re-use. Our mission: to strengthen links between stores and ourSSE partners in terms of collection, but also to share knowledge on refurbishment. 

How is the collection organized? 

• In-store and local collection points: as part of the take-back program, our partner retailers collect products all year round. We put these retailers in touch with local associations so that they can collect furniture, toys, DIY and garden items in good condition all year round, for re-use.
• Seasonal collection : we organize "event" collections, such as toy collections at schools, or DIY or garden collections at leisure or tourist sites. 
• Collection from waste collection centres via reuse zones.
• Voluntary on-site collection : you are listed on our geolocation map as a donation point for items in good condition.

Benefit from access to the donation platform! 

The donation platform is a classified ads site set up by Ecomaison to put retailers - who need to donate their unsold goods - in touch with our partners in the social economy. This platform enables you to take back all types of household products: furniture, bedding, DIY and garden items, but also toys, whether unsold or destocked, mismatched parcels, after-sales returns, exhibition models... 

Using the donation platform allows you to : 

• easy, local access to quality products, many of them new;
• increase supplies to your stores and reuse workshops;
• create long-term partnerships with local retailers. 

Focus on mandatory traceability 

One of the conditions of our partnerships is to ensure the traceability of incoming and outgoing products. For each item, we need to know: its origin, its nature, whether it comes from a voluntary donation or has been collected via a partner store or during a seasonal collection. You also need to be able to quantify reused items (sold or donated) by category.
